IRANIAN CHRISTIANS’ PRISON SENTENCES UPHELD
One-year prison sentences given to Iranian believers have been upheld upon appeal. Sam and his brother Sasan Khosravi and their wives and others were arrested in Bushehr in Iran in July 2019.
In June 2020, they were charged with ‘propaganda against the State through promoting Christianity' and sentenced to one year's imprisonment, which they appealed against. However, on 27th January 2021, their appeal was upheld.
Please pray for God’s protection upon them and their families and that God’s love will shine through them and break down barriers preventing freedom of religion.
CHRISTIAN CONVERTS FACE INTERROGATION
Please pray for a number of Iranian Christian converts who have been reported to Intelligence Officers and have faced harsh questioning pressuring them not to meet with other Christians even in private homes.
‘In Karaj twelve believers have been summoned to Intelligence Officials to face interrogation.’
Please pray that they would have the courage to remain steadfast in their faith and stand for Christ and that even security officials may be able to hear the Gospel and come to faith in Christ.
