60 Year Old Woman Imprisoned 

Mina Khajavi, a 60-year-old Iranian Christian convert, faces a six-year prison sentence for leading a house-church, accused of promoting 'Zionist' Christianity against national security. Arrested in 2020, Mina, Joseph Shahbazian, and Malihe Nazari received sentences in 2022. Despite suffering a car accident and serious injuries, Mina was summoned to Evin Prison within five days. Joseph and Malihe, convicted on the same charge, were released early due to reduced sentences and health concerns. Article18's Mansour Borji criticized the injustice, calling for Mina's immediate acquittal and urging Iran to respect a 2021 Supreme Court ruling stating the promotion of Christianity is not a threat.
