Undisclosed Location

Iman Golzar, a recent Christian convert, was arrested at his home in Dezful, Iran, by plainclothes agents of the Ministry of Intelligence on 16 January, as reported by Article 18. Despite no warrant shown, they confiscated his belongings and took him to an undisclosed location. His parents, who are deaf, are unable to locate him and face threats when inquiring about his well-being.

This incident follows the arrest of another convert, Esmaeil Narimanpour, on Christmas Eve. Additionally, at least three other Christians were arrested in nearby cities during the Christmas period. The situation underscores the challenges faced by religious minorities in Iran.
