"Jesus Is Worth It"
Simin, a devoted Christian in Iran, faced severe persecution from authorities, her workplace, and her own family for her faith. Together with her husband Mohsen, she established a house church, which, despite their cautious efforts, was exposed, leading to their arrest. Both faced dire repercussions; Mohsen was imprisoned and Simin lost her nursing job.
Simin's profound encounter with Christianity began when she received a Bible and watched a transformative film about Jesus, strengthening her resolve in her faith. Despite the ordeals, including threats and forced exile, Simin's spirit remains unbroken. She affirms, "Jesus is worth it."
Now, with support from Open Doors, Simin leads an online ministry, educating Iranian women about the Bible and aiding them in forming their own house churches. Her story is a testament to her unyielding faith and dedication to spreading hope among fellow believers.
Please pray:
-
For God's protection and strength for Simin and her family as they continue their impactful ministry.
-
For the enduring spirit and safety of the underground church in Iran, especially the women facing heightened persecution.
