Silent Cries
Mojdeh Falahi, a Christian convert, has been detained in Shiraz, Iran, since 9 September, as reported by Article 18. Her brother-in-law, Sam Khosravi, reports that she is in a fragile psychological state, constantly crying during her brief visits with family. Mojdeh was arrested while trying to secure the release of another detained Christian and is being held at the Pelak-e 100 detention centre, under the intelligence ministry’s control.
Her family suspects she is being pressured to provide information about other Christians, though she holds no leadership role in any church. Despite her family’s repeated pleas, Mojdeh remains in detention, leading to severe distress for both her and her mother.
Sam himself has been in hiding after a judge ordered the removal of his adopted daughter because of his Christian faith. He fears both Mojdeh and her family may bear long-term psychological scars from this ordeal.
Please pray:
▪ Pray for Mojdeh’s strength, healing, and release from detention.
▪ Pray for comfort and peace for her family, especially her mother, and for Sam as he navigates his own struggles.
