Imprisoned and Injured, Awaiting Justice
Aida Najaflou, a Christian convert imprisoned in Iran, urgently needs prayer, as reported by Open Doors. She recently fell from her bunkbed in Tehran’s Evin Prison, fracturing her spine. Despite doctors recommending surgery, she was returned to prison the same day, still in pain and without proper medical care.
Aida’s health is particularly fragile due to rheumatoid arthritis, and her requests for a lower bunk were ignored. Prior to her arrest, she had undergone major surgeries and was still recovering from a nine-hour operation. She has also endured over two months in solitary confinement and continues to be denied adequate medical attention.
Her family cannot afford her bail of 11 billion tomans (around £100,000), so she remains in custody and awaits a court verdict.
Please pray:
▪ For Aida’s healing and proper medical treatment.
▪ For God’s strength and protection over Aida and her family.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1
